Rogue Green was created to bring the fun back to GREEN. The grassroots, the inspiration, the loss of ego and collective spirit of seeing the BIGGER picture. It was my goal to help the arts and sustainability communities collide, to push the envelope, to help empower the community, to educate, inspire and infiltrate!

For the past three years this has been one of my biggest love projects. I have organized monthly events to try to reach all of those objectives. We've had amazing presenters - Eric Corey Freed, Josiah Cain, Shane Snipes, Jonce Walker, Mark Wilhelm, and others. We've learned about biomimicry, climate change, urban heat island effect, energy programs and liveable communities to name a few... We've had roundtable discussions and networking events filled with meaningful conversations. We've participated in and organized community clean-ups and worked together to save the 1st St. ficus tree. We've written letters and attended city and legislative hearings. We've stopped bad anti-sustainability bills and potentially toxic pipelines under schools. And then of course there's my beloved chalkboard project! We - our community - went Rogue Green and kicked some serious ass! I couldn't have done this without the support of various sponsors and generous building owners. I thank each and every one of you who has ever attended an event - especially all of you regulars!

I am proud to call Phoenix my home, even though it drives me crazy sometimes. It is a fight worth fighting for...

So in keeping the momentum going, the beautiful domino effect of inspiration, this event will be a very special one for me - and I hope for you too. I have invited many of the people who are near and dear to my heart in the sustainability community to share their inspiration for fighting the good fight in 2 minute speeches. What drives them to make change? What propels them forward? I'm so excited to hear what they have to say!

There will be music and snacks and mingling. There will be surprise guests. I will be smiling! Please join us for the celebration in the home of my new industrial treehouse fort workspace in the beautiful monOrchid building in downtown Phoenix. I will also be making some very SPECIAL announcements.

If you would like to donate a door prize to bring awareness to your business or be a monetary sponsor to off-set event costs, please send me an email. Suggested $10 attendee donation appreciated for future projects/events.
